BOTY: THE MOVIE

Hey guys, i officially just saw Battle Of The Year the movie last night and i was greatly inspired. That movie is a perfect tale of how much dance has grown. The movie, which featured top dancers from all over, even had the RnB and HIP-HOP star, Chris Brown, featured in it. I have been anticipating the premier of the movie, which did in cinemas in Nigeria last week. Hate to say i missed the premier though. Well guys, if you have not seen it, please do this weekend. BATTLE OF THE YEAR 2013: SPACE UNLIMITED IN GERMANY

Space Unlimited, the winner of BOTY Nationals (Nigeria) represented the Giants Of Africa at the Battle Of The Year world tournament which held in Germany.
The B-boy crew brought their A-game just like any other crew in the competition. They hit the dance floor with a highly synchronized top-rock to one of Timaya's records and this baffled the spectators. Proud of them though. Much respect. Watch video below and please a comment.

BUTTERFLIES IN MY TUMMY

This choreography was one of the major hghlights of the Alien Nation Crew concert. The chemistry between the dancers could not be hidden. A love tale portrayed in a dance masterpiece. I can't over emphasize. You watch and leave a comment.

IKECHI'S COVENANT CONTINUED

Still on the Alien nation crew dance concert which held a week ago, this beautiful routine was performed on the night. It was choreographed and directed by the president of the Alien nation crew, Temisan. In my opinion, i would give it an eight over ten. Well that's my opinion. IKECHI'S COVENANT: ALIEN NATION IFE

Alien Nation, as we all know, has been around for a while now. They have spread from UNILAG to other Nigerian Universities. This was a performance done by the Alien nation crew in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife.They thrilled the audience with thier technical dance beat and sleek fance moves at the dance and drama concert: IKECHI'S COVENANT which held yesterday in the main auditorium of the University of Lagos. The much anticipated dance and drama concert hosted by the Alien Nation Crew, held a few hours ago and i was there in person to cover the event. In one word, i would describe it as AMAZING. They blew my mind. Those guys are really raising the bar. Ikechi's Covenant (the jaw bone confessions) was a dance drama like never before seen on stage. They left the viewers more than satisfied. For those of you that missed it, wipe those tears off your cheeks. I would be putting up videos of the dance performances. VIDEO: THE JOURNEY BEGINS

The Journey Begins, a music and drama show which held at the muson centre a few weeks ago, was hosted by Tim Godfrey and the Xtreme Crew. The show which featured some of the big names in the Nigerian entertainment industry like Banky W, Femi Jacobs, YAW, Lepacious Bose, Joseph Benjamin, Akpororo and Julius Agwu, was a huge success. BEST SKELEWU DANCE EVER

The  SKELEWU dance caught the attention of many when the watery sum of 3,000 USD was placed on it by the music crooner Davido, for the best skelewu dance clip. Davido, who coined the dance,finally picked his winner. Yep, the dude in the video named Kiddy. Well, in my opinion, it is wel deserved. There were lots of crazy videos out there though, but I gues there was something special about this one that caught the eyes of Davido. Watch video and tell me what you think. Enjoy!

I thought to share this video with you guys because I was quite impressed with the technique of the freestyle. Jerry is a presently a 200L student of the college of medicine, Unilag, and his robotics are breathtaking. Dub step, which is a mix of robotics and popping is one realy technical dance style.
